Vow Of Sanctuary:
It does seem hard for the mind to categorize something that does not exclude, in this way we can define the nature of this practice is to exclude the choice to exclude. And when we look out at the universe, we do not see exclusion naturally happening. Even while we can debate that what is excluded simply does not exist, we could also argue that the only thing we want to exclude is that will to debate this natural order of existence. We do not desire for everyone to understand what we believe, as if it is unnatural, we desire to assist everyone in understanding what already is natural.
So it is true, you might participate in a faith which openly excludes people who participate in specific activities, and so it may appear that our stance is contradictory to yours, when in actuality it is yours which contradicts ours. For you and your insistence to reject and exclude for whatever reason is welcome in existence and therefore welcome in our community.
However this place, much like our practice, will remain a safe place for all minorities as well as majorities. Any actions or insistence on obedience of your practice of rejection, will remain excluded from our sanctuary. Only you can reject our welcome. With that being said...
Seeking Truth:
What we discuss and help each other with is understanding, which comes best from experience. Many participate in particular faiths and activities because they have yet to understand. However, we know that you can come to understand everything through anything. Therefore all religions and any practice, or sport or craft, can indeed guide you to the full understanding of all truth. While some guidance might expedite this process, we trust your inspiration because we trust your “creator”. Therefore if we rejected your process, we would in turn be rejecting our “creator”. Sure we can do that if we so desire to, it would only seem natural to protect our beliefs, however it is not conducive to the goal of coming to understand, yet it will always be conducive to experiencing what we need to reach that goal. As painful as it can seem to be to watch, we can not force anyone to learn their own lessons, but we can help you in understanding them.
